Nascent’s first major initiative saw the delivery of medical equipment, devices and furniture to 17 heavily impoverished clinics in Cameroon’s Bui Division. The Nativity Catholic church in Burke Virginia and its generous congregation was a primary donor for this mission which saw sphygmomanometers, scales, stethoscopes, clinic beds, chairs and tables and other utilities delivered to severely deprived rural clinics.
The transportation and logistics networks established and reinforced since inception has allowed Nascent to maintain a relation with all 17 clinics and continue to replace and maintain critical equipment as needed and to partner with local health professionals for our health related programming including deworming schoolchildren and more recently covid prevention.
