For nine years, women and girls in Cameroon’s English-speaking regions have borne the brunt the socio-political crisis that began in 2016. Many teenage girls have suffered sexual violence resulting in pregnancy, motherhood and dropping out of school. Nascent has provided birthing kits and baby supplies to many of these new mothers and helped them learn trades to gain self-reliance, but countless others still lack support.

Our 2026 appeal continues our 2025 mission to raise funds for teenage mothers in the North West and South West regions of Cameroon. Your donation will help them learn a skill, feed their babies, and build a foundation for themselves and their children.
